Vintage 1960’s two piece dress and jacket set
I absolutely adore this elegant 1960’s two piece set! The tag on the neck of the jacket reads Abe Schrader and the tag on the inside bottom right says “Typically” Benjamin’s, Albuquerque, N.M.
I actually found it in Albuquerque which makes it so special to see that the tag is from a local shop that once existed nearby.
The dress is in good condition with a few slight marks that didn’t come out when I had the set dry cleaned, and a few loose threads under the left arm. Other than that, the zipper on the back works well and so does the little hook and eye closure.
Pockets!! There is one pocket on each side of the middle of the dress. I actually found a little hankie in the right pocket that was dry cleaned inside of the dress! I will include it with the set. :)
The jacket is in magnificent shape and the lining is so clean and in tact! It has 8 black round buttons on the front and a decorative strap that goes around each side where there is one black round button on the back.
This set is gorgeous and I felt like it transported me through time when I was wearing it. Owning this is owning a piece of southwest vintage.
